| Holo Holo Music Festival Holo Holo Music Festival was born from a love of island and reggae music—a genre deeply rooted in connection, culture, and movement. The festival first set sail in 2022 at Frost Amphitheater at Stanford University, bringing together fans to celebrate the vibrant sounds of the islands. With the spirit of holo holo—meaning "to travel, to sail, to move"—the event quickly expanded, reaching new shores in Las Vegas and Sacramento in 2023. By 2024, its journey continued with a highly anticipated stop in San Diego. Now, in 2026, we're excited to take Holo Holo even further, bringing the music and community to Oceanside, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Tacoma, San Diego, Hawai'i, Irvine, and San Jose! As we continue to move and grow, the festival remains a space for connection—where fans can gather for two days of unforgettable performances, incredible food, and the shared love of island and reggae music. For Good Vibez Presents co-owner Dan Sheehan, Holo Holo is more than just a festival—it's a reflection of his roots. "Growing up in Ewa Beach, O'ahu, island music and reggae were the soundtracks of my childhood. These styles—the heartbeat of the islands—are the backbone of my work as a festival producer and venue owner. A big part of Good Vibez Presents is about discovery, and I'm honored to showcase and celebrate these artists at Holo Holo Festivals." For over 25 years, Good Vibez Presents has produced hundreds of immersive, multidimensional concerts and festivals across the West Coast, Hawai'i, Arizona, North Carolina, and Mexico. Giacomo Puccini’s one-act masterpiece Il Tabarro, Italian for The Cloak, is a dramatic story of love, jealousy, and betrayal. Set aboard a river barge in Paris at the turn of the century, the soul-stirring melodies will transport you to a foggy night of deception and death. Il Tabarro is the least-performed of the three operas in Puccini’s triple-bill Il Trittico (The Triptych). While companies frequently mount double bills of Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi, they usually overlook “Il Tabarro,” the first opera Puccini composed in the trio. In just one hour, you’ll be spellbound by the beauty and power of this music, whether you’re a devoted opera fan or a first-timer. That’s just half of the program, though. After the intermission, you’ll see the same story told in a completely different way: through neoclassical ballet. Featuring original choreography, this brand new adaptation of Il Tabarro reverses the narrative as the characters are now silent, speaking only through mesmerizingly expressive movements. The band name "DOES" is derived from the word for a female deer (doe). | Toro Nagashi Festival Toro Nagashi (floating lanterns) is a ceremony to honor those who have passed. The floating lanterns commemorate loved ones and wish them peace. Guests will be able to float their candle-lit lanterns (LED candles) in the lower garden stream during the evening ceremony on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th.
