Join MTRP Trail Guides to learn how Kumeyaay children lived and played in Mission Trails before the arrival of the Spanish. The games they played were not only fun but also taught them important life skills. Have fun completing a nature journal while on the walk and get a nature sticker afterwards. This FREE adventure is ideal for families with children ages 5–12 years, but all ages are welcome. Meet at the Kumeyaay Lake Campground shade structure (near the east restrooms). Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring along water. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Walks are canceled if raining.
