For the first time ever, Romania will participate in the Parade of Nations at Balboa Park. And we want YOU to join the festivities by participating in the parade. Let’s do our best to represent our traditions and culture … let’s make Romania proud. On Saturday September 6th, meet us at the Bea Evenson Fountain (near the Natural History Museum) at 9:30 AM so that we can all take place in the parade alongside Italy, Spain, Hungary, Peru, Mexico and the other great Nations in the International Cottages program. Wear traditional clothing, bring your flags and show your spirit. And let’s make Romania proud. After the parade stick around for the HPR 90th Anniversary Celebration. Balboa Park will have many activities planned at the International Cottages area and there will be a Romanian booth selling Mici, Placinta cu Mere, Placinta cu Branza, soda and water.
