San Diego Indian American Society, in association with San Diego Museum of Art and Indian associations of San Diego, will be celebrating the 11th Annual Festival of Lights in historic Balboa Park.
This annual festival signifies the best virtues of the human condition. Diwali illuminations bring the brightness and joy with the hope of finding light in darkness, achieving knowledge where there is ignorance and spreading love amidst hatred.
The celebration includes:
1:00 PM to 8:00 PM 4th Annual Festival of Dolls/Ancient Large Lamps Exhibition
3:00 PM to 5:30 PM Individual State Revue
6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Rainbow Dances
Lights Procession
Local Indian restaurants will be selling food from various parts of India.
Admission/Cost: $5, Children under 12 free
