Your honored presence is requested at this resplendent event. In the style of Jane Austin (Party Like it's 1799), the Playford Plodders and the San Diego English Country Dancers will host a formal Regency Ball.
This formal ball will run in conjunction with the Harvest Festival in Balboa Park which will host a wide variety of dances and a huge vendor marketplace featuring San Diego Steampunk vendors and products and San Diego Costume Guild vendors and products.
Come in the morning to learn a dance or two at all the free dance workshops. Browse the vendor marketplace in the afternoon to make some delightful purchases of costumes and accessories. Dress up and return in the evening for the formal Regency Ball. Admission tickets will be available for dancers and non-dancers. Make sure to buy your Admission tickets early to receive the best discounts.
