To celebrate a successful and enchanting exhibition, the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, in collaboration with the Confucius Institute at San Diego State University, are hosting a closing reception on Sunday, December 17 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The "Four Treasures of the Chinese Study" exhibit showcases ink stick, ink stone, writing brush and paper—four treasures used in the study of Chinese calligraphy and writing. To bring the exhibition to a close, the museum welcomes Dr. Ruan Daren for a live art demonstration of Traditional Chinese Calligraphy.
