The seventh-annual Oceanside International Film Festival is an opportunity for independent filmmakers local and abroad to screen their work in a Southern California locale. Over the course of eight days OIFF 2017 will host over 70 films, some of which have international settings or subjects. The majority of the films are shorts.
Opening and closing events are at the Star Theatre; all other days at Sunshine Brooks Theatre.
