Francesco Cavalli composed Giasone for the 1649 Venetian carnival season. Loosely based on Greek mythological themes, it's a witty, exciting comedy focusing on the traps of power, love, and attraction. Stage directed by David Radam?s Toro and conducted by Nicholas Kraemer. Come early for food trucks at 6:30 PM, and a pre-show talk at 7:15 PM.
