Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
Elizabeth Wistrich?s one-act version of Carmen has been one of her most popular, critically acclaimed and in demand ballets. Created in 1988, danced to Georges Bizet?s exhilarating score, the ballet tells the story of Carmen, a beautiful and sultry factory worker, set in 1820?s Spain. Men are fascinated by her and will do almost anything for her love ? including murder. Also on the program is a world premiere by Geoff Gonzalez to Vivaldi?s most popular score ? The Four Seasons. With detailed scenery and elaborate costumes by the great designer, David Heuvel, this dramatic story ballet never fails to leave an indelible impression.
