Emphasizing the the rollicking music, food and Mardi Gras spirit of Louisiana, San Diego?s 16th annual Gator By The Bay is the largest, most authentic good times music, dance and culture festival in Southern California. Held Thursday, May 11 to Sunday, May 14 - Spanish Landing Park, across from San Diego International Airport, Gator By the Bay features four days of live music with over 100 musical acts and special performances on seven stages, shaded dance floors for non-stop dancing, cooking demos, dance lessons and 10,000 pounds of live crawfish brought in fresh from Louisiana for the biggest crawfish boil this side of the bayou.

Since its inception in 2001 the festival has grown to showcase not only Grammy winning Cajun and Zydeco artists directly from Louisiana, but also legendary Chicago and California blues artists, rockabilly and roots performers and award-winning salsa and Latin bands. The festival has become an annual must-do for enthusiasts of all ages.

Festival tickets range from $25 to $40, with discounts available for advance purchase and multiday passes. Children 17 and under are admitted free with a paid adult and kids can enjoy an activity area just for them.
