Join Nathan Rivera, Jessie Andra Smith and their band for a night of gypsy blues and jazzy tunes. From the streets of New Orleans to a Parisian caf?, Nathan and Jessie take listeners on a multi-instrumental, multilingual journey. A high level of musicianship, jazz improvisation, and audience participation combine for a fun and uplifting show.
The band features an eclectic group of talented musicians: Jessie Andra Smith is a guitarist with a one of a kind voice. Her songs of love, life, and travel convey authenticity in both English and French. Nathan Rivera performs on accordion, resonator guitar, and clarinet as well as vocals in English and Spanish. New Orleans personality Milly Raccoon is a fiddler, songwriter, linguist and traveling musician. Local legend Trevor Mulvey has performed on upright bass around San Diego for years. Jazz guitar virtuoso Ryan Dart studied with the masters at Los Angeles Music Academy and California Institute for the Arts.
