Any 21+ age artists are invited to an unforgettable evening with two revered Mexican American artists, Einar & Jamex De La Torre. Four delicious food & wine pairings will be included.
Einar and Jamex de la Torre have spent a lifetime collaborating on award winning Public Art. Known for their provocative flair and skillful layering, they have transcended all boundaries of contemporary art and are highly respected around the world. Layers of blown glass, paint, digital print, and resin are often incorporated into their elaborate pieces ? resulting in a signature contemporary style fused with their Mexican American background. The De la Torre Brothers' work has been exhibited in some of the world's most notable museums and galleries including The Chrysler Museum of Art; The National Hispanic Cultural Center; Carnegie Art Museum; Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego and their provocative work will be opening the Smithsonian Latino Center in 2018. The De la Torre Brothers' glass work has been acquired by some of the world's most important Mexican-American art collectors including Cheech Marin.
