A family feud driven by the death of one Father at the hands of the other explodes into a fit of passion as The Bride runs from her wedding day into the arms of her former lover, Leonardo; the son of the man who killed her Father. Essentially left at the altar, The Groom vows revenge and sets out to find and kill Leonardo, resulting in a true Blood Wedding.

Considered a classic of 20th century drama, Frederica Garcia Lorca?s play is based on a newspaper clipping about a bride who ran off with the son of her family?s enemy. Exploring themes of love, pride, desire, rage and constraint our bilingual production of Blood Wedding is simultaneously brutal and beautiful in its examination of the human spirit and what we are willing to do for love.

Director: Rob Lutfy
