Dance in the middle of Balboa Park for a good cause! Charlie Chavez y Su Afrotruko, one of San Diego?s premiere live salsa bands, will be performing, as well as San Diego Island Touch, Suave Dance Co, and many more! DJ Tumbao will also provide salsa, bachata, merengue and reggaeton beats.
Dancers of all levels are welcome. Just starting out? Don't worry! Free beginner salsa and bachata dance classes will be led by Frankie & Sadie from Suave Dance Co.
Honduran food and drinks will be available for your refreshment.
All proceeds will go to support Students Helping Honduras? ?Train for Change? project ? A teacher training program that will provide life-changing educational opportunities to more than 1 million children in the most impoverished areas Honduras and Latin America.
