With its close proximity to the University of California, San Diego, which attracts students and talent from around the world, the community surrounding Doyle Park is extremely diverse. The Doyle Rec Council aims to celebrate this diversity to unify residents and build a better sense of community. The timing of the event near the beginning of the school year was intentional, and the council hopes ?Celebrating Diversity at Doyle? can serve as a nice welcome to the new students and families of North University City.
