Jazz vocalist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and dancer Jen Shyu will perform the solo piece "Solo Rights: Seven Breaths" (vocals, Taiwanese moon lute, gayageum, piano, dance) as well as music for trio set to poetry by Edward Chang (with bassist Mark Dresser and flutist Nicole Mitchell). Shyu has recorded five albums.
