The Little Italy Classic series screens the first Saturday night of each month from October through May. November's selection is the 1973 Italian film Bread & Chocolate.
Bread & Chocolate tells the story of Nino Garofalo, who leaves his family for a job in a fancy Swiss restaurant as a waiter-on-trial. Nino tries to adapt to the Swiss culture, he even dyes his hair blond, but there is a constant struggle between his Italian identity and the Swiss one he is attempting to adopt.
