Jewish Voice for Peace-San Diego and the Valencia Park/Malcolm X branch of the San Diego Public Libraries invite you to attend a free screening of the documentary film Roadmap to Apartheid on Sunday, June 15 at 1:30 pm at the library branch, 5148 Market Street, San Diego. The screening will be the fourth event in JVP?s Israel-Palestine: Discovery and Hope film series. We will provide refreshments and a discussion will follow the film. The event will take place on Father?s Day, so please bring your fathers with you if you can!
Miko Peled, Israeli author and peace activist, will be our guest speaker for the event and will provide a brief introduction to the film as well as lead the discussion/Q&A afterward. Miko, who grew up in a prominent Zionist family, is the author of the book The General?s Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine. He is the son of an Israeli general and the grandson of one of the signers of Israel?s Declaration of Independence.
