The Afrojazziacs spawned from a collective of musicians representing a great variety of musical styles including contemporary and traditional Afro-Cuban, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Cumbia, Salsa, Afro-beat, and much more. Its members are young professional musicians who are looking to bring a fresh perspective to the fusion of world music. The Afrojazziacs are best described as an Afro-Latin-Jazz-Punk-Funk band whose full musical experience is achieved through the incorporation of Latin-American ethnic instruments such as the Puerto Rican quatro, Afro-Cuban tr?s and bat? drums among other various elements.
