Sip a glass of iced mint tea, and let author Kitty Morse introduce you to the culture and cuisine of her native Morocco. During the 50-minute Power Point presentation, Kitty invites you to step into Dar Zitoun, her family?s historic riad (Moorish mansion), meet her friends and relatives, and discover the history and techniques behind family recipes handed down through the generations, from exotic stews known as tagines, to couscous, and bestila, the crowning dish of Morocco's culinary repertoire. A book signing and short demonstration of how to make Moroccan preserved lemons will follow the presentation.
