Come experience the art and culture of Japanese style drumming with friends and family at the Family Taiko Day workshop with Naruwan Taiko. Different stations that the kids will rotate in, each station covering one aspect of taiko (playing it, the clothes we wear, the words we shout, the smaller instruments on the side, etc.) We also hope they will have an opportunity to make something to take home.
Children will need to bring water and earplugs (these can also be purchased for $.50 on site). Some parents have brought small sound mufflers for the kids to wear too.
Admission/Cost: It is $10 per parent/child pair (or per child, if a parent is bringing more than 1 child).
