Mexico is taking a leading role in confronting the impacts of climate change. Last year, the Mexican government established a National Climate Change Strategy that sets achievable goals over the next 40 years to develop clean energies, generate jobs in clean energy, promote sustainable development and improve public health and the quality of life.
