Internationally renowned pipa player and Carlsbad resident Wu Man and Son de San Diego: When China Meets Latin America. Part of the San Diego Foundation??s Creative Catalyst Fund, the project explores cross-cultural exchanges between Chinese and Latin American plucking instruments, resulting in a musical dialogue between these two diverse communities. Through rehearsals, workshops, and performances, Wu Man and Son de San Diego discover and share the unique collaboration they have forged between the musical traditions of China and Latin America.
