Tom Hom, author of Rabbit on the Bumpy Road, will speak on his experiences as the first Asian Pacific Islander elected to the San Diego City Council in 1963 in contrast to the present day environment. The theme is Re-imagining the Slant: Storytelling, Culture and Identity.
