Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
This year?s conference theme is: "The Road to Cultural Competency: Sustaining our Communities." The Multicultural Conference is intended to be a dynamic and interactive development opportunity that gives participants the essential components and strategies needed to be competent to function in a multicultural society. The conference will focus on four central components for competency: Awareness, Sensitivity, Knowledge and Skills. The guiding foundation for the conference is to cover issues of Women, Spirituality, Religion and an encompassing Cross Cultural education.

This year?s theme "The Road to Cultural Competency: Sustaining our Communities" was chosen to explore the ways in which underrepresented communities sustain themselves through building collective spaces, activism, seeking economic justice, social justice, and addressing privilege amongst many other methods. We are seeking workshop presenters that will engage our students, staff, and community members in dialogue through personal knowledge and an understanding of histories.
