The Little Italy Summer Film Festival will screen films every Saturday (except August 17) at the Amici Park Amphitheater. It may be chilly, so be sure to bring a light jacket or blanket to keep yourself warm. Note: If the weather is bad, the film for that day will not be rescheduled.

Saturday, July 6th / Benvenuti al Sud
Humor abounds from the stereotypical way that the Italian northerners view those from the South. Alberto is sent from the north to work near Napoli. This is a fate worse than death for Alberto who prepares for drive-by shootings and lazy employees.
Saturday, July 13th / Benvenuti al Nord
This time someone from the south is sent to the north. Mattia is sent to work in Milano and you can already hear his mother wailing! As in Benvenuti al Sud, there are lots of laughs when we don?t take ourselves too seriously.
Saturday, July 20th / Pasta Nera
The war is over and Italy is devastated. In a rare climate of cooperation thousands of families from the center-north open their homes to children from the worse hit and inherently poor areas of the south. Documentary contains rare footage from the Luce film archive.
Saturday, July 27th / Marriage Italian Style
Marcello Mastroianni co-stars as the irrepressibly carnal businessman Domenico, who discovers Loren?s Filumena as a young prostitute and keeps her as his mistress and confidante. When he chooses to marry a young cashier, instead of her, Filumena resorts to wild and hilarious ruses.
