The Siam Sinfonietta Youth Symphony Orchestra won 1st Place at the prestigious Summa Cum Laude competition in the world-famous Golden Hall of Vienna, Austria...beating out orchestras from Australia, Europe, and the United States while playing Austrian music, in Austria, with an all-Austrian jury!
In June, Siam Sinfonietta will visit Southern California to perform at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Following the Walt Disney Concert Hall performance, Siam Sinfonietta is playing a special concert in San Diego at the Birch North Park Theatre on June 22nd at 7:00 PM to benefit the Toys For Thailand Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity that provides tangible assistance to orphaned, abandoned, marginalized, and stateless children among the tribal villages of Thailand's northern border with Burma.
