The practice of Sutra Writing is a form of Buddhist meditation followed throughout Asia. This workshop will introduce you to the Heart Sutra, the essence of the Prajna Paramita Sutra (Perfection of Wisdom), using Chinese Calligraphy.
Tara Hu is an artist who was raised and trained in Taipei, Taiwan. She has lived in the US since 1995. Using traditional Chinese calligraphy techniques, she brings a fresh and contemporary style to the pieces she creates, giving each work a unique and contemporary look.
